This Week...
In afternoon activities, some of the children played cricket. Even the Course Director joined in... Some of the children played basketball and football instead. It was a wet day in Cambridge, and not just because of the rain! The punters sprayed evereyone with water, but it was still a good trip and we got to see lots of beautiful, old buildings in Cambridge University. The evening Treasure Hunt was fun, and everyone went around the school answering questions and finding pieces of plastic fruit. Some piano playing ended the night. On Thursday everyone went to Pleasurewood Hills theme park, where there were lots of good rides, though we were all very tired by the end! There was a quiz on Friday, which involved a number of games. There was apple bobbing and blind-folded yoghurt eating, and everyone got very messy! On Saturday everyone played sports or went for Arts & Crafts. Cricket, volleyball and basketball were all played, and football, in preparation for next week's tournament. |
